We have an added treat for this music season at Sycamore Creek. Former Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Winners Helene Cronin and Frank Martin Gilligan have agreed to play a concert on May 2, 2026. Invitations for this concert will go out at 5pm, April 2nd.

Helene Cronin is an singer-songwriter recognized for her introspective lyrics and narrative songwriting. Based in Texas, she gained national attention as a winner of the 2018 New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. For a sample of Helene’s songs, go to helenecronin.com.

Frank Martin Gilligan (2014 Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Award Winner) grew up in NYC, then at 19 he headed to Beaumont, Texas where he formed Mason Dixon, a Texas vocal group of some notoriety His song “Silver Dollar” was one of his entries in New Folk and I feel sure he will play it at Sycamore. The suggested minimum donation will be $30/person. Invitations sent out on April 2, 2026.
