Pat Byrne has come a long way since coming to Texas from Ireland and landing his first deal with Universal. In 2017, Byrne began his migration to Austin. In 2019, Pat took the US by storm, with breakout performances at the 30A Festival (Florida), SXSW (Austin), Kerrville Folk Festival, and the American Festival. Being immersed in the Texas Music scene, Pat’s sophomore US release, Into the Light, has a drier feel underscoring both emotional depth and greater confidence, while blending new influences with his rich Irish heritage.
We are so pleased that Pat has agreed to play Sycamore Creek in 2026. The invitation for this concert will go out March 12th at 5pm. We anticipate this concert selling out quickly so buyers be aware and make those reservations quickly.
The suggested minimum donation is $30/person. This show is full, but you can request to be put on the wait list.
We became familiar with The Rifters when we were attending the Texas Cowboy Poetry Gathering at Alpine years ago. They were always a hit out there and we knew we would like to have them at Sycamore Creek, but we are just now getting it done. Invitations will go out February 21st at 5pm.
The Rifters are Rod Taylor (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Don Richmond (guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, pedal steel guitar, dobro, harmonica, vocals), and Jim Bradley (bass, vocals). Putting out more music than it seems should be right for three guys on stage, The Rifters employ a wide range of acoustic and electric instruments, combined with soaring three-part harmonies, to provide a mesmerizing variety of music from driving blue-grama-grass to ethereal desert beauty. The years of playing to the dance crowds in their northern New Mexico homeland has given their music a toe-tapping rhythm that is engaging and undeniable. With a pedigree of bands like Hired Hands, the Rounders, and South by Southwest among them, the Rifters are truly a musical voice of the west, and their region of high desert vistas and mountain majesty.
The Rifters have released 7 CDs – The Rifters, The Great River, Live at the Sagebrush, Architecture of a Fire, Live at Uptop, Passes and Peaks, and The Enchanted World. Their songs include co-writes with legendary writers such as Chuck Pyle and Waddie Mitchell, and have been covered by iconic artists such as Michael Hearne, Shake Russell, and Bill Hearne. The band celebrated their 20th year together in 2022, and as they have been known to say, “We ain't dead yet!”
The Rifters are at home at a barn dance with the hay and the horses, in a mountain town bar or honky-tonk, in a house concert, or on a festival or concert stage. Their choice of moving and powerful material, both original and by others, their impeccable musicianship, and their strong three part vocal arrangements combine to make The Rifters a crowd-pleasing musical experience.

Walt Wilkins work has been likened to the greatest and most timeless of the Texas/American troubadours: Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt and Kevin Welch among others. We first saw him at the Southwest Folk Alliance conference in 2017 and we immediately asked him to play at Sycamore.
His first performance at Sycamore was in 2018 and it was stunning to say the least.
He has written songs for the likes of Ricky Skaggs, Kenny Loggins and Pat Green. He is also a poet, heavily influenced by John Steinbeck. All in all, Walt is the real deal. I can promise you that this will be a very special evening of music. AND it is Valentines Day, a great opportunity for a special evening with that “special” person.
Check out his music at: www.WaltWilkins.com and YouTube. I am partial to “The Trains I Have Missed”, but who wouldn’t like “Dogs, Man”.
The suggested minimum donation will be $30/person. Invitations sent out on January 14, 2026 at 5pm. This show now has a wait list, email to join the waitlist.
The Flyin' A's perform Americana with a Texas Kick.
This husband and wife duo hails from Austin, Texas. You can hear their Texas roots in all they do. This high energy duo is famous for their top-notch songwriting, breathtaking harmonies, and exceptional live performances. Their album You Drive Me Crazy was selected to be on the 2017 first round Grammy Ballot and has taken them on tour around the US, UK, and EU. From Stuart Adamson's outstanding lead guitar work and gritty vocals to Hilary Claire Adamson's powerhouse vocal gymnastics and lilting harmonies, it is no wonder this duo is quickly gaining momentum both at home and abroad. They combine the best of Texas country, southern blues, folk and gospel to create an original sound that is all their own.
But don't take our word for it, check them out on your chosen streaming platform or on their website.
The suggested minimum donation will be $30/person. Invitations to be sent out on December 3, 2025.
